Pathology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology involved in diagnostic, research, teaching and training the students of Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College. Later in the year 2006, the concept of Central laboratory came into existence. Central Diagnostic laboratory services (CDLS) was established in 2016 in Excellence Care building with all three departments under common platform.  Further, many newer tests were added in the services with improvement in the analytical process with high end equipment and considerably reduced Turnaround Time.
