Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology caters to the jurisdiction of police stations under Kolar, Chikkaballapur, and Bengaluru rural districts of Karnataka and other neighboring districts of Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu, which include Police inquest cases, Magistrate inquest cases, and exhumation cases too. We have one mortuary with state-of-the-art facilities located in the hospital premises and are equipped with cold storage facility.

The Department provides medico-legal postmortem services on all days of the week.
