Our department established in year 2001 as part of the hospital’s expansion into specialised care. First full time superspeciality department in the institution. Initially operated with single consultant doing basic urology procedures but now evolved into full time teaching department with four qualified urologists managing wide urological conditions with acceptable outcomes. Laid foundation for advanced urology care in the region. Started as teaching department with intake of 3 postgraduate students every year from 2024/25.
