Biography
- Flight Surgeon in the Indian Air Force 1989 – 2022
- In the early nineties he has been the squadron doctor of a frontline supersonic swing-wing fighter squadron in the northeast of India, ensured healthcare and preventive healthcare with zero health related fatalities during his tour of duty.
- He was Senior Medical Officer of a Frontline Air Defence Radar base in the north-western border of India during the turbulent times in Punjab in the nineties.
- After surgical training, worked in a various busy military hospitals in South India as an independent young consultant surgery where he competently handled a spectrum of routine surgery, orthopaedics, trauma and war surgery cases from 1997 to 2002
- After training to be a genitourinary surgeon has thereafter worked in various tertiary referral and teaching military hospitals across the country providing not only the full spectrum of genitourinary care to troops and dependents but also trauma and disaster relief support as and when called upon 2005 – 2021
- Professor, Department of Urology RLJ Center of Urology and Nephrology March 2022 onwards.
