Biography

Currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Kolar, Karnataka, India (November 2019-Tilldate).
Previously, I have worked as an ICMR-Senior Research Fellowship (3.5 years), DOS in Food science & Nutrition, University of Mysore, my key area of research was Isolation and characterization of bioactive compounds and synthesis of nanoparticles from medicinal plants and its application in biomedical field. (April 2016-November 2019).
Worked as a Food safety officer in Britannia pvt. Ltd. Bidadi for the period of 4 months (December 2015-March 2016).
Worked as Quality Manager in Koiel Food Proce’s and have excellent knowledge in the Quality testing (Biscuits) of Raw materials and Packing materials from the past 8 months. My job profiles includes sharing of monthly and daily performance summaries with the General Manager and also provide plant performance improvement in the quality and production aspect (Jan 2015-Sep 2015).
I have worked as Quality chemist, Chamundeswari beverages, Mysore, India, (10 months) My key area of work was maintaining accurate and thorough records of laboratory procedures and results; ensure compliance with government regulations; prepare analytical work sheets and reports. Monitoring and reviewing the results of the quality assurance/control program; analyze laboratory data and recommend treatment modifications; present data analysis in tabular and graphical forms. (Part time- March 2015-December 2015).
I have worked as Project Assistant (04 years) in Food Packaging Technology Department, CFTRI Mysore. My key area of work was on Migration test on Food packaging materials and development of Biodegradable films (Jan 2011-Dec-2014).
I have worked as Research Assistant (02 years) in Food Science and Nutrition Department, University of Mysore. My key area of research was in the analysis of anti- oxidants, anti-diabetic and antimicrobial activity in medicinal plants and isolation of bioactive compounds by UP - L C M S method (Dec 2008-Dec 2010).
Till date I have 39 Research papers publications in International journals and Two books, I have one best poster and oral presentation at international conference to my credit.
