Facilities and Services

The department offers oncological surgical services in head and neck cancers, breast cancers, lung cancers, esophageal and stomach cancers, colorectal cancers, hepatobiliary cancers, soft tissue sarcomas, gynecological cancers and urological cancers.

All patients are evaluated in a multidisciplinary clinic (joint clinic) every Friday to formulate the best treatment plan so as to improve outcomes. Patients who are below poverty line (BPL) can avail the Ayushman Bharat Scheme for treatment.

    • Head and neck cancers: cancers of the buccal mucosa, tongue, larynx, hypopharynx and thyroid
    • Breast cancers: both early and locally advanced breast cancers
    • Lung cancers and mediastinal tumours
    • Gastrointestinal cancers including esophageal and stomach, colorectal and small bowel cancers and hepatobiliary cancers
    • Soft tissue sarcomas and retroperitoneal sarcomas
    • Gynecological cancers involving the ovaries, uterus, cervix and vulva
    • Urological cancers involving kidney, ureter, bladder, prostate and penis.
